A FORCE OF CHESED — FOR THE COMMUNITY!
To describe Chaverim of Rockland as an organization with a list of services can be misleading and almost unfair.
As community life in and around Rockland County’s many Jewish neighborhoods continues to expand, so do Chaverim’s responsibilities. From the weekdays to Shabbos, from out on the road to home life, and from the housing developments to the woods, Chaverim’s mission can not easily be narrowed down.
The only way to summarize what Chaverim stands for is: For the Community!
Chaverim goes wherever the community needs them, and when the community needs them.
This growing mission has made Chaverim an essential cog in our chesed scene and a key part of community life. Everyone who calls the greater Monsey area home, has benefited from one the organization’s many services, and has come to rely on Chaverim being there whenever a need arises.
And Chaverim always answers the call.
Because being there For the Community is an achrayus that can never be taken lightly.
This bold commitment not only demands the heroic devotion of its many members, but naturally incurs many costs. And this responsibility belongs to all of us —
For ourselves.
For our families.
For our neighbors.
For the community.
