Of Klal Yisrael

Celebrate the monumental accomplishments and lifelong partnership of The Rosh HaYeshiva HaGaon HaRav Dovid Feinstein zt”l, and Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz z”l which has brought Torah to hundreds of thousands of Yidden across the world by dedicating your letters in this Sefer Torah and demonstrating your Hakaras HaTov. 

After Reb Meir’s untimely passing, Rav Dovid felt it appropriate that Klal Yisroel should join forces to write a Sefer Torah in tribute to the humble giant who brought Torah to hundreds of thousands around the world. The Rosh Hayeshiva launched this project, but to our great sadness, is not able to complete it. Today it is our honor and duty to fulfill his wishes. 

There is no member of Klal Yisrael who has not benefited from this relationship. Now, it is time to say thank you.  

Whether you have davened from an Artscroll Siddur, or learnt from an Artscroll Chumash or Gemara, there is no member of Klal Yisrael who has not benefited from this relationship. Now, it is time to say thank you.  

Rav Dovid Zt”l personally requested from each member of Klal Yisrael to take part in this Sefer Torah and dedicate letters. 

“Since he toiled for forty years to ensure that the Torah not be forgotten, it is most appropriate that the Yeshiva has undertaken to write a sefer Torah l’zecher nishmaso, in his memory and in tribute to his efforts.” - Rav Dovid Feinstein Zt”l
