Congregation Bnei Shmaya of Temeshvar, located in the Airmont section of Monsey, isn’t just another shul. This bustling Makom of Torah and Tefila serves as a haven of inspiration and a beacon of light for the entire surrounding neighborhood.
This Mikdash Me’at is a source of spiritual oxygen for the local residents and those who come to daven and learn, basking in its rarefied atmosphere.
As we know, the critical foundation of the shul’s ultimate success is the mikvah, the wellspring of purity and kedusha.
After sweating through many legal battles and cutting through bureaucratic complications, we have, with much Heavenly assistance, been successful in laying the groundwork of this massive project. As we approach the final stages of construction, we are left with no choice but appeal to you for assistance.
The shul members have already contributed their share; however, the costs of this undertaking have ended up swelling to way more than originally projected. And so, we ask of you to kindly give us that final boost that will propel us forward, bringing this sacred project to the finish line.
Our sages teach us that the one who completes a mitzvah is considered to have performed the entire mitzvah. As such, the merit of this mikveh is yours to grab. It is our united efforts that will enable the culmination of this state-of-the-art mikveh, the cornerstone of purity that will uphold the sanctity of our shul and neighborhood.
