Ezer L’Yeshivos - The Future Happens Here
The early teens are a turbulent time for many young boys. In these formative years, their future hangs in the balance; one good zman, one supportive Rebbe, or one environment conducive to success can put a bachur on the right path for the rest of his life!
On the other hand, R”L, this is a time where tremendous harm can be done to a boy who isn’t accepted into a suitable place. A young, impressionable mind who is told multiple times “No, you’re not good enough” can quickly start internalizing these negative thoughts and set out on years of pain, hardship, and spiritual self-harm, often to a point of no-return.
Every year, hundreds of boys who wish to learn and grow are left behind as their friends are accepted to the yeshivas of their choice. Whether due to mild learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral difficulties, or simply a lack of support, a staggering number of boys in our community are left out in the cold as the new zman approaches. Ezer L’Yeshivos is there for these boys and their desperate parents so that they don’t fall through the cracks and get lost to the streets! Ezer L’Yeshivos is determined to give every struggling boy the chance to succeed. No boy will be left behind!
Ezer L’Yeshivos employs experts and professionals who evaluate each individual boy and speak with his current menahel (principal) and potential roshei yeshivos. The aim is to determine which yeshivah is most suitable for the boy’s growth and success. With much siyatta d’shmaya, Ezer L’Yeshivos is instrumental in ensuring that hundreds of helpless boys capitalize on their youthful years with a yeshivah experience that will enhance their lives.
This work doesn’t happen in a vacuum, though. Many Yeshivas will only accept students if they are certain that their learning will be up to par with their peers and that tuition will be paid reliably. Lilmoid Ulilamed, a project of Ezer L’Yeshivos, arranges for the necessary mentoring and tutoring so that each bachur can realize his full potential in his new environment. When necessary, Lilnoid Ulilamed will provide the school administration with a commitment that the boy’s tuition and dormitory expenses will be fully paid up. For many boys from less fortunate homes they would otherwise NOT have the privilege of remaining in a yeshivah setting.
Ezer L’Yeshivos cannot continue granting the gift of true life to these boys without your help! Please join these efforts by partaking in this year’s raffle campaign and make a difference in the next generation of Klal Yisroel!
